Hello & Welcome

So, welcome to my blog. As stated in the title, I am a single mom who is always looking for interesting ways to make extra money. It seems to me, when I work full time, I don’t have nearly enough time for my child. It’s like we are always running around in a constant state of crisis. But, I don’t always make quite enough money when I work part time for us to take advantage of any extra time that gives us. (If you are one of those lucky parents who has ever had to pick between groceries and utilities, you know exactly what I mean!)

But, have no fear! With a little persistence and creativity, you can make enough extra money to either supplement or replace what you make working full time for somebody else. Now, I am not claiming that anybody is going to get rich instantly by any means. But, there are many opportunities out there that many of us overlook. For instance, the business I am in, I can usually dig up some freelance work someplace. This doesn’t work for everybody, though. Dan Miller is a constant source of inspiration (and common sense) to many people. His web site and podcasts are full of material to get you thinking. He doesn’t promise to turn you into an instant millionaire either, but he is well worth listening to. He also has a series of workbooks and books that are well worth your time.
